Girls Night Out

Sisters,cousins and friends....

Friday night was Rebekah's turn for our monthly GNO... It was a blast....we had dinner at Pei Wei and then a night of bowling...A few of us "Sucked" and being the wonderful sister I am...I asked the young man to raise the bumpers up only on Amber's turn... I think her self esteem for bowling went up a tad...I love when we all get together...and Friday we were missing half of our group...

The Last Campout of the year...

Okay so my sister and I have taken it upon ourselves to schedule camp outs... I don't know if my older kids appreciate it but once we leave home and they realize they don't have a choice they really do try and make the best of it...Soooo the first weekend in October we drove up to Heber City met my mom and dad and had a nice little camp out...

Who wouldn't like Grandma's Carmel apples?

Some video game time in the motor home, scrabble with grandma?

Birthday spankings from Grandma, wood stealing with Uncle James, watching Conference and football?

Fishing from a bridge, camp fires and S' mores, James making faces through the smoke and walks along side of a creek...?

I guess when it's said and done.....Who wouldn't enjoy our "Wonderful" Camp out.....?

Walk for Strides

Today is October 10,2009 and it's my Birthday!!!! I asked my family for one gift and that was to walk with me in the fight against "Cancer"... So many people think that the breast cancer walk is only for those that have/had breast cancer but the truth is,it is for all those who have/had any type of cancer...Loved ones that have passed and families that stay strong to keep one's memory alive... It is more then a walk it is a sense of Hope,Unity and Love... I truly enjoy that I can share this important day with my best friend and our kids... One of the coolest parts of the walk is realizing that everyone around you shares a similar story... I hope to continue on with this tradition that we started in IL 6 years ago....What a wonderful gift Life is...Happy Birthday to me!!!

Our Family walked for Big James' aunts and cousin: Brenette Green, Great Aunt Mable, Elnora Weatherton, Evola Akins.
And our Dear friend Tammy Olson.....
