Matt,Rebeka and Nya stopped by to bring Jack and Moose a big bag of toys... Jack played for a couple of hours with a few different toys and pooped himself out!!!!

Merry Christmas

This Christmas was hard to shop for the kids... The boys were not really asking for much and Day only wanted a "PINK" guitar... So it is safe to say that we had a small Christmas...James and Demetrious' big gift was "ROCK BAND" which they started playing about 8:30 am and didn't finish until Matt and Tia Rebekah came over ummmm around 6:30pm....I'm thinking rock band was a big hit!!!!

Gingerbread fun....

Day made a gingerbread house a couple off weeks ago at school...but between driving and touching it the house fall apart... Courtney's mom had sent a gift with Courtney for our family and believe it or not it was great timing because I told Day we would buy a big gingerbread house and put it together... So long story short Matt,Rebekah,James and myself went on a date last Saturday night...Courtney,James,Demetrious,Day and of course Nya stayed at uncle Matt's house... Nya and Day were so excited because Courtney and James helped the girls put the house together!!!!!

Nya and Rebekah stopped by the office this afternoon.... Nya and I decided we would have a "Princess" photo shoot!!!! I love my Nya!!!!If I could only be as cute as she is!!!!

Sunday James,Demetrious,Day and myself watched Thumbelina for the first time... It was a very cute movie... for Big James,Day and myself... as you see Demetrious was soooooo ready for James to get home...

"Girls night out"

Jiranda was in charge of "Girls night out" for December... Jiranda asked us all to request tickets for the Christmas concert downtown... My two sisters and I were the only ones that received a response for the tickets... but it was great because it was more then enough for all of us to go together... Long story short Elise couldn't make it so I ask James' girlfriend Courtney if she or her mom wanted to go...Julie had plans so I was happy to take Courtney with us... Jiranda,Elise and myself were at the office earlier making fun of lil James because "Oh man" she is with all my aunts and mom... I'm sure James was a nervous wreck... Over all we had a great time... the girls met at "Lone star" for dinner. Shirley brought us a very nice-cleaver-thoughtful gift... "A girls night out" piggy bank... After dinner we raced down to the traks and of course Stacie beat us all there... I tried to convince the girls to hop the trolley but no one was daring to do it... so we missed the first one... I don't want you guys to think that I am a bad influence on Courtney but I wanted to get great seats!!!! :) needless to say there was 21,000 people there and we all had to split up... For a minute I thought Shirley and Amber were going to turn "KUNG FU PANDA" only because it was full and we couldn't sit together...again back to the trolley if we only jump on when I told you guys to we could have sat together!!!:) We finally were ushered to the reserved seats...It was a beautiful concert... Afterwards we walked around Temple Square and took a few pictures... It was getting pretty late and I think we all we were getting tired... Stacie and her poor feet... It was again a great time and I hope Courtney enjoyed meeting the other woman in James' life!!!!

Okay... As everyone knows James is growing up right in front of us.."Quickly" It's sometimes very hard to think that in a few years my "precious" son will be leaving the nest...and I will have to experience the same with Demetrious...:(James and I have been experiencing the teenage issues of girls,school,sports and life in general with our oldest son... Wait for it... I am getting to my point... Lil James has had a few crushes here and there but never someone he was willing to bring home to mom and dad... Well now he does... "Courtney"... Big James and I have had the opportunity to talk to Courtney a few times... She is a very sweet,kind,funny,modest,well rounded young lady that James should be proud to date... We have warned her about our family so she is ready to take you all on... :)

FYI: we even tried to convince her to talk to James about his hair... CUT IT SON!!!!

Big James always gets a kick out of my dogs... He loves to call me "Queen Sheba" and her "Shebaknights" because whenever I get home from work or just laying around on the weekends, my dogs both curl up and lay by my feet... I took this picture of Jack with the ball in his mouth because that silly ball is always somewhere near him at all times... Moose had to get in on the action too...

These two dogs are the best dogs anybody could have...I just love the both of them...

I had to blog this picture because "Day" will try so hard to stay awake until her Dad or myself tuck her into bed... She is such a precious gift to our family...

Basketball Season begins....

The Play-Offs and the Championship games at the University of Utah

Cottonwood took it all the way... The team in red is Pineville,they traveled from St. George Utah to Salt Lake City. Cottonwood won... So onto the Championship game... That would be Tempview in white... They traveled up from Provo Utah... Cottonwood lost... As a mom it was very hard to see the boys with so many emotions... I could see the lump in James throat... The only smile I got from him is the one above with the boys from Demetrious' team... They stood in the cold with their shirts off to cheer James on..."AWESOME". I am so happy that James had such a fan-support club from family and friends...Jr.Colts and their coaches, Jenny,Kayla,Dave,Angie,Vince,Tia Rebekah,Tia Christina,Uncle Matt and Scott all the cousins,Tia Stacie,Uncle Jethro,Elise,Jirandia and whoever else I didn't mention... Thank you so much for the love and support you guys gave James...and all the other Colts... See you next year...
